I was wondering where in Chicago area you get your cue repair done, i.e Tips and stuff. I am in the N/W suburbs (Mount Prospect) and am a novice player still finding my way around.

Any leads or recommendations would be appreciated.

Also, if you have any recommendations on places to go watch exceptional players play, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,

In the Chicago area I have my cue repair done by Ron de Rueda in Palatine. You can reach him by going to Quentin Corner Pocket in Palatine. It is at the corner of Northwest Highway (14) and Quentin Road.

As for watching quality players I would say the Billiard Cafe in Chicago on Thursday nights. They have a tournament that alot of good players go to. There is also Chris's Billiards on Milwaukee ave. There are usually alot of good players there every day.

Good luck,
Sarah

No problem. If you need anything else let me know.

If you stop by Quentin Corner Pocket on a Friday or Saturday night you will get to a see an interesting game called 6-pocket...a rendition of golf. It is pretty fun to watch and play.

Take care,
Sarah
