Who doesn't have access to a good pool room?

I would have to drive at least an hour and a half to get to what I would consider a good pool room. It sucks. :(

I only live 25-30 minutes from Iowa City, IA and there isn't one single place up there I would consider a good pool room, just a bunch of places with poorly maintained, dirty bar boxes. It's a college town and I think a good quality pool hall/room would do well there. (If you build it, they will come. So somebody please come build one.;) ) Nothing to brag about in Cedar Rapids either.

At least I live in a small town that has a bar with three 8' Valley tables that are very well maintained (because I'm the one maintaining them). I think we have the best tables here in my home town for at least a 40-50 mile radius.

That place sounds awesome!!!

I have always wanted to try 3C, it looks like something i would really enjoy.
Also haven't seen a snooker table that people actually played snooker on in years

It is a great room, plenty of space between tables also. I used to complain about the lack of action in the bay area, no more will I do that, at least there are some nice rooms there.

Here's the link to the California Billiard Club in Mountain View, which looks like is going to be my home room when I move back out there in July.
