Typically, the tables are set up on the weekend so you can practice the night or nights before.

I will be in town and looking to match up with fellow AZers on the weekend before ten ball or during the week.

Not going to Reno but at end of February there is the Rocky Antenucci Memorial in Fresno at Diamond billiards. You can probably find soe action there.

Action

Next Weds is the Markulis Memorial at Hard Times in Sacramento. 2k added to the one pocket and 5k added to the 9ball. Played on 4 1/2 x 9 Gold Crowns with 4.25" pockets and new tournament blue Simonis cloth.

Lots of champions show up and then go to Reno and there will be some action.

i knowq john i wanted to play in this one but there is a tournament in reno warm up for bar table guaranteed cash there instead of playing the worlds best at sac
 
Actionplayer, can you post a little review after your trip to Reno? I'd like to hear from some folks how it is, etc. Maybe next year I can work in a little vacation time.

I'll be there for all three events representing the Dead Money crowd. Nothing is as lovable as a glutton for punishment, right?

If, through some miracle, I win even a single game I plan to immediately give a big "woo hoo", a fist pump, grab my cue and head out of the tournament area leaving my opponent (most like a pro) sitting there wondering what the hell just happened.

"Is he coming back to finish the match?"
"No, probably not."

Kidding.
