I'm not from there...the next state up. I used to live in Coral Springs ( for 12 years) and in about a year or so will be in Cape Coral, permanently.

First of all, I'd like to know how the payout is structured.
I need to know how much the room owner is making.
I need to know how much othe td is making.
I need to know if I buy a player in the calcutta, will he be making more than I do?

I realize that this post is total BS, but I feel I can't take even the smallest part of such a travesty of justice brought upon by the evil that is a pool tournament.

If you see Roy Novak or Rob Seaz tell them that Frank from Auburn says hello. Its been a little while since I have seen them. Roy looks alot like Tom Petty. He is hard to miss.
Do you know if Carl still works there?

Wish I could go but I am a long way away (SoCal). When I was in college there my group had a couple friends from Melbourne and we went down a
time or two. I am not sure if my buddy Richard still plays or not but he moved back to Melbourne. He is a 6'3 oriental guy that really stands out.

Glad to hear Aurora is still there. The supply company guys were always
great to deal with.

God bless the Seminole Tribe of Florida! This will be the second event of the new format of 10-ball. I am going to be following this tournament right here at AzBilliards!

We won't be able to attend, Johnny "V." Keith is already studying and handicapping for the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

Keep us posted, Johnny "V," with updates during the tournament. It's interesting to find out how many players showed up, the kind of equipment in the host pool room, who's hitting 'em sporty, and, of course, any action reports! Sounds like you're going to have a great weekend!

They say it’s a small world, I guess so.

I haven’t seen Roy in 4 or 5 years but the last I heard he injured his back, not sure if he is playing much now. But we use to play often years ago. You are right on the money with the Tom Petty comment. I played Rob a few times in local tourneys but really never got to know him. Carl is doing well the last time we spoke however he isn’t really playing much either. He isn’t working at Players any more, don’t know exactly what he is doing now other than being happily married with kids. I haven’t seen Richard in a long time either, guess I’m not a lot of help.

Tony R is also confirmed. Corey and Johnny are questionmarks again this year (they didn't show because of some 30,000 matchup in Georgia last year... At least that is the rumor going around)

Play starts at 1:00 pm acording to Pete. (the bar waitress had no idea when she told me 9:00).

Shorty.. Sounds like a great time. I think I am going to try and get everyone together around the time of the open in Aug if you are interested. Sort of a mini tournament for braggin rights. I will post more info when the time comes.
