Who made this case?

I'm guessing import. I thought it looked well-built and well-used and that's what I was looking for. I like the character a daily-use case gets over the years.

I received this case and the leather looks nice and the hardware and fasteners are decent for the most part, but I noticed a loose tack holding on the bottom and started messing with them and they were all kind of loose. That's because they were side wise into a piece of crappy 3/8 particle board. The bottom all looked very hastily done, and that's not where you want to save time. I think I could load it up and give it a few good shakes and had all my cue slide out onto the ground. I took all that crap out and am going to redo the bottom in solid hardwood so I can have a little piece of mind. Will post pics when I make some progress towards that.

My custom one-of-a-kind Joss cue was damaged from the buttcap up through the wrap and into the forearm when it hit the bottom of a Bentley case and the bottom broke out. The cue slid through a ring of nail points.

The case was brand new and I put the cue in only once.

This brand is crap. I have taken so many of them apart and people were always amazed at how crappy they were. Then I would do what you are doing and replace the wood and latches and generally upgrade the case as best I could.
