This Elite cue appears to be different than new Production Elite Cues. Is this one custom made? Sorry about pic size. It says elite instead of just E on butt.

Partner you need to take some additional photo's, or this is a wasted thread.

Take Care

Dick Coombs of Lincoln, Ne made cues under that name. Dick was an ACA member and passed away away a few years after retiring in the late 90's or early 2000's IIRC. Someone else will be along shortly to give you a different answer.

Stoney

I have no clue if anyone made custom cues calling them Elite but I know that a line of cues that has been around since at least the mid nineties were made in China. Elite was engraved on the butt cap in a script writing similar to Meucci's logo.

Dick

I believe that is a import production cue. From the small pic of the buttsleeve a friend has the same cue. Allen gave it to him when he was like 12 yrs old. I call it his billy club. They ran like $150 new

Used to be Viking, than McDermott. I think that they have also had several others making the cues. Have not seen one in years.

I owned one a long time ago, probably 15 years ago. When bought it used I realized it was just a renamed viking sold by a private label.

In the early 90's Viking made a line for someone that used the name Elite on them. At the same time I was having Viking make a line for me to sell out of my pool room called Sceptre. Those are not to be confused with the current California cuemaker who is now using the name Sceptre.
