Who makes the SOLO tips?

There is a new cue tip brand SOLO just emerged on the Chinese market. Looks like ultraskin, black, layered. Has hardness grades: Pro, VS, S, M, H (haven't seen HH yet). It has "Made in USA" printed on top of it, anyone knows who actually makes them?

That's odd... A tip that marketed in china but made is the USA....
These do look very similar to the UltraSkin tips especially with the "pro" hardness....
Let's see if tom hay pops in and knows anything about them..

I'd love to try the solo tips, I'm an American made kinda guy. I support our products that keep our workers with food on the table and a roof over head.

What keeps someone from buying, lets say an 11 layer tip, for $5. Then take a razor blaze and cut the top layer off. Then press it or iron it and put their own logo on it and call it "-----------". Then sell the 10 layer tip for $10. ?????? Makes ya wonder doesn't it?

I asked Tom, he said that he have never seen it. So it wasn't a Ultraskin rebrand.

Someone may have done it. But that would qualify it as "hand-made-tips" somewhat:D.
Kidding. I was saying that what you suggesting is more expensive and prone to damage the tips. It could be an ultraskin imitation, could be a different brand, but I doubt it was "rebranded" by hand. I guess we will have to wait for someone knows more about this product.

If it's sold in China, Made In USA logo, my guess there is a 90% chance of it being made in China in a factory that has a Made In USA stamp. China products don't have the best "honesty" when it comes to marketing.
