I have a black nylon butterfly 4x8 with leather trim and a red interior that we made on request and now I don't know who asked for it. It was asked for in a thread or by pm I don't know.

So here is the case. Would the person who wanted it please remind me about where you asked for it so you get first dibs.

Otherwise I will put it up for general sale tomorrow.

I'm not asking this for any other reason than because I don't know so please don't take this the wrong way. Every case I've ever had has had a "fixed" interior, it seems to me that a removable interior would be less stable. What would be the reason or logic behind a removable interior?

I actually don't know why the AVP butterfly cases were done with a removeable interior. I suspect that it's because they were easier to make and I know for us it would be much more difficult to make this type of case with a fixed interior in the center. Doing it on the sides is no problem.

When I designed the Instroke butterfly cases I made it so that two boards could be used at the same time thus doubling the capacity of the case. And for the JB Butterflies I do often tell customers that we can sell them extra interiors so that they can have more than one set of cues and just swap the interiors as they need to. Normally I will provide a padded bag for the storage of the extra interiors.

We do make sure that the interiors are secure. it would take some effort to get them to detach from the case.
 
JB just a suggestion but unless this fella stopped communicating with you during the process, maybe give him a few days instead of until tomorrow in case he doesn't log on here every day like the rest of us fools. Hate to see this turn into another WTF thread. Cheers, Kevin.

Thanks. This was an offhand comment someone made not an official order and I intend to give him first shot at it. If I do sell it to someone else I will make him another one quickly.
 
It was me but I just got out of hospital and if I had the money I would buy it in heartbeat I also.sent u a email about it.but oh well when I get funds saved up I will purchase one.
