who will win the pool party this sunday

Corey, Janette, and ????? dam forgot who their third is. They played great against Alison and gerda last weekend, They'll win the trophy.

I think this is one of the best pool shows on tv. Fun to watch.

TEAM IRRESISTIBLE WINS ULTIMATE POOL PARTY
See Hohmann, Villareal and Williams on ESPN in September

Colorado Springs, Colorado: At the recent Billiard Congress of America [BCA) event in Baltimore, the trio of Thorsten Hohmann, Vivian Villarreal and Charlie Williams came away the winners of the promotional 8-Ball "Ultimate Pool Party". Early on in the taped-for-ESPN playoff, the threesome had dubbed themselves "Team Irresistible".

The "Irresistible force" squared off against early-round opponents "The Favorites" Johnny Archer, Karen Corr and Julie Kelly in the first scheduled semifinal. Elsewhere on the set, the remaining teams also adopted their own monikers, and in the second semi-final, the "Dream Team" of Corey Deuel, Jeanette Lee and Ralf Souquet advanced to the final with a win over "the Tag team" of Alison Fisher, Gerda Hofstatter and Tony Robles.

In front of packed studio audiences, all three of the team 8-ball playoffs were taped for later ESPN broadcast, on a set designed to look like a well-appointed home game room.

I saw it and I sure did call it wrong.... I think things would have turned out much differently, had Corey not scratched on that first break. I did see both of the semi's, and thought Corey Ralf and Janette really played well together. It was a lot of fun to watch, light hearted entertainment, but the "trophy" was a sham.....lol

Good thing no one placed a bet with you on this huh?
Wait a second, who were you cheering for anyways?
At first it looks like sarcasm, and you are for the dream team, but after I read it a few times it looks as though you could have been rooting for the irresistables.

I am friends with two thirds of the irresistibles. I was there, so my cheating heart knew who the winner was, since august. I was just getting some giggles.

Best to all.
