In the past I've seen discussions about buying through a dealer vs. buying direct with a manufacturer/pool cue maker. Without getting back into that topic I'd like to hear from AZ'rs about what they consider a dealer to be. Where is the line crossed from being an infrequent time to time seller to becoming an actual dealer?

A dealer is someone who works full time selling billiard equipment.
It is there primary source of income.
They should be authorized as such by buying through distributors or factory direct.
They should be working from a commercial location and not from home.

IMHO, someone who buys and sells cues over the internet, and still has a day job, is not a dealer. They may not even maintain a web site.
Most are just opportunist, looking to make a few easy bucks.

I was wondering about the people who, over time, order custiom cues (sometimes many) specifically looking to sell them when they eventually get them taking advantage of an increase in value that has taken place between the time they order the cue(s) and the time they actually get them. From what I see offered for sale on AZ and ebay it seems that there is a lot of this going on.
