That would be me. Nah just kidding. He does do great work.
Haven't had any table roll yet. But then again with the Gold Crown 4s once you get it right it generally stays right.

I also saw he got that Snooker Table together at number 2. I can't stand those things. Especially moving them.

The 2 best that I have seen around SC are Mark Gregory and Scott Rabon. Both do excellent work.

Scott is so meticulous that one can be sure everything is perfect before he leaves a site.

Mike

Mike House (previous owner of Beach Club Billiards in Kissimmee, Fl) in Orlando has a fine reputation in this area.

I would have to concur with Mike on this one.
Mark Gregory does terrific work.
I know several people who have used him. They loved his work and recommend him to their friends.

Mike House...Dave Williams

Mike House put a new cloth on the table in my avatar...great job...Mike is a very good player too by the way...

The table was first set up and covered in my home by Dave Williams who owns a room in New Port Richey...don't know if he still covers tables but he is top notch...plays at Capone's...

Can anyone name the tops in the northeast also? Thanks

Mark gregory once told me that there was a guy in Pittsburgh that
was the best anywhere. Not sure of the name. Im sure someone on here
will know.

I was lucky enough to see Mark actually doing the work. He was very meticulous and cut the shims into the pockets better than I have ever seen. He did a triple shim job to a diamond and it was hardly
noticeable (until you shot).

I'm sure if no one here knows the guy in Pittsburgh that you could call Mark and get his name and number if he is close enough to do the work
for you.

I've heard great reviews on Victor Conte up North. He is probably the best up there.

That is funny because Al Conte(form Victor Conte Billiards) is in my basement right now putting Simonis 860 on my table. I'll put some pics of him at work up later.

Ernesto Dominguez(sp) does all the top rooms in California, I know not the SE, but he also attends the tournaments and he and his son (I think its his son) are tournament class players and travel alot. They do tables when they travel. Nice guy, would probably love to crack his nut by doing a couple of tables. He is out of LA and could be contacted through Hard Times in LA or Sacramento. Just leave a message to have him call you. He is excellent, does almost every top tournament room out here. PM me if you want or have a problem contacting him.

Funny you should mention that. A few of the bigger rooms here still get Mark Gregory to come up and do their tables. I wonder who Mark was referring to?

Top table mechanics/wizards

CITY ? ........ STATE ?

Pls. post your recommended mechanics' location. It would help in locating them. Don't think someone in SC would be interested in traveling to Florida for a job.:p Thanks!

How ironic? How do like your table now? Does Al work for Brunswick? I notice there is a Brunswick logo on his overall.
