Why buy a custom?

custom

tells us whose cues you are talking about I may want one too
Help him by adverizing on here for him

I repeat... F'N great cue. THE BEST.

Cant get a shaft.

Why do people shoot with a McDermott? You tell me.

Huh? This makes no sense. Did you buy or are u lookng.

Personally I'd rather protect my investment with a custom rather then take a bath on a production cue. Customs hold their value better. Production you throw half the value in the trash

What doesnt make sense? The fact that I passed by 100 Shon's, 4000 McDermotts, 600 Vikings... To pick a custom.

Now when I need a shaft I cant get it. I can put my card number in and order 6000 shafts from any of the list I mentioned.

I WANT ONE SHAFT. THE SHAFT I CANT LIVE WITHOUT.

cant get it.

What shaft can't you get? There are 200 cuemakers that can make shafts. Some are amazing some are just ok. You may not k ow until you played with it for 2 weeks. That's what I don't understand. Buy a 13mm tiger shaft or predator fat shaft.

Shaft

Too solve the problem, order you a custom shaft. There are the best a fairist cue makers on the planet wright here? Soooo, simple.

Well if you buy a Shon it's probably made in China. Now if you want a nice custom/ production cue you could buy a Schon. I simply can not believe that you cant get a new shaft.I think with most customs you can get a custom shaft for close to the cost of a production shaft

Mods need to move this thread to the whiner forum. What? No WHINER forum? Guess we need a new one. Waaaaannhhh!

If you bought a true custom, then the custom maker can make you a shaft. Secondly, if the cuemaker doesn't offer to build you a matching shaft to your specs, then, you didn't really buy a custom. You said it was a sneaky pete, so if you are talking about the 'Sneakiest Pete", then you are dead wrong. Plenty of cuemakers use the 3/8-10 Acme pin or flat-faced not to be confused with 3/8-10 McDermott style.

Who made your cue?
