I was just wondering if anybody on here can tell me why Blackjack Dave Sapolis left AZ billiards. I found him to be very helpful and knowledgable on pool. Plus i think he was a very colorful person....................mike....will miss Dave

As far as I can tell, Blackjack has bought into this whole conspiracy theory that FL has concocted where I am supposedly posting under a number of different aliases here on the forums in an attempt to stir up trouble.

Still not sure what the supposed point is behind my doing this, but that is what has been said.

I understand Blackjack claims he sent me either an email or a PM explaining something about why he left, but since I never received anything, I don't know for sure.

I too will miss him.

I made him mad with my "Grady...the Next FL?" post.

I gathered that was only the straw that broke the camels back. Blackjack took some undeserved shots in the Danny Harriman thing, that, and I would guess other smaller things. :(

Hey Cueball,

I speak with David once and a while. He had been contemplating leaving all forums as he believe most have outlived their usefulness. He complements Mike on the work he has done here at AZ. There are not reasons such as Mike having multiple aliases or anything remotely like that. Nor did he send a PM to Mike outside of notifying him of posts that should be removed because of content, that is to help this forum out.

In any event, David has left all forums, not just this one. Davis is a very stand up person who loves everything about pool. I encourage anyone who is interested to visit his site at www.davidsapolis.com. He has a lot of excellent and free stuff there that I'm sure will improve everyone's game.

I respect David and hope everyone in this forum has an opportunity to see the person he is. Visit his site often and enjoy it, as he put it there for that very reason. Best of luck David.

Blackjack will be back, he's on his own time. He's just taking time off to reflect... to make sure that what he posts is accurate.

I have the utmost respect for Blackjack because (He, unlike I) has been one of the most truthful people on this message board. Pool is in his blood, and he's obligated to help from his own virtues. We need more people like him. I miss his comments.

He helped put me in check, and better myself. Now I'm out for blood when it comes to compitition.

One quote that stands out in my mind that Blackjack gave is "know the table, know the enimie." That alone woke me up to a different mental state of the game.

Come back Blackjack, I need your guidence.
