Why do companies charge more than retailers?

If you are the wholesale or manufacturing company and you also sell retail you are smart to only advertise full retail or your dealers will feel you have an unfair advantage if you advertise less than full retail. They will feel you are hurting their sales. For example a famous tip company demands all dealers only advertise full retail and you have to call to get wholesale pricing from their dealers. They also sell retail but they will undercut their dealers prices to anyone who calls them directly. That is also a bad practice.

It is with artists. Not that anybody wants to eke out a living. Did you have a point or are you just going to recontext for sacrasm?
Nope. Just trying to determine your level of understanding of business, economics, and the English language.

I’ve decided that either your business knowledge is sadly lacking, you simply can’t define greed, or you’re a rabid communist. Of course, they’re not all necessarily mutually exclusive.

The sarcasm is just a happy byproduct... 😊

Greed drives the whole equation. People think inflation is a requirement of economics.
Why are you bringing inflation into this? We aren't talking about inflation.

Do you believe that any profit motive at all is greed? To just say greed drives the entire equation just doesn't fly with me. Maybe you just threw it out there to be outrageous but if not then I could not disagree more.

The only cue company I know of that doesn't do this is Predator. They don't give a wholesale price to retailers that sell their products.
Of course they do. If not, a retailer couldn’t make money selling their cues and wouldn’t carry them...

People that equate making a profit with greed are just clueless. Simple as that. If the price of an item is too high for one's wallet don't buy it but don't b^&*h-n-whine about greed.
Of course they do. If not, a retailer couldn’t make money selling their cues and wouldn’t carry them...
