Many pool posting cheap misers keep whining about the cost of the CTE book "Center Pocket Music" at $100. Are you kidding me?! If a hundred bucks is like the end of the world for you at this stage of your life, you're BROKE whether you know it or admit it! A HUNDO at this stage of life, especially for an enjoyable time consuming activity, is like $10 bucks years ago or for something with less benefit.

Mark Wilson's book on pool, which Innocent Dan bought and raved about, cost $75 at time of release and has 240 pages. That comes out to .31 cents a page. Here's the cost today: Play Great Pool by Mark Wilson & Donald Wardell, MD : $70 -$100

This isn't a knock on Mark's book because it is a good book. Stan and Mark know each other very well and have a lot of respect for each other. Mark ended up as the coach for the pool team Landon Shuffett was on in college.

Too bad the know it all forum pool players (many hacks) can't give the same respect to a great instructor who has been one of the biggest innovators in the game for the way pool balls are aimed. But in the end, who cares?!
CTE will now live FOREVER because of Hal Houle and Stan Shuffett.

Interesting, he's using gaslighting and calling people broke if they don't want to spend $100, that's a new tactic at least.

Methinks a better marketing approach would be welcoming to potential customers and show them you are an honorable person. Some people seem to always end up being in relationships with gaslighting and verbal abuse, maybe that's who @Low500 is trying to sell to. I know I for one would never have considered a purchase if I had seen some of these tactics. Poor Stan, with friends like this, who needs enemies!

Oh well, time for me to rage since I'm apparently in the Heathen Camp (even though I wasn't too cheap to buy the book and think it's a fine aiming method).

It takes some table time though. It won't fall into place in a week or two. Stan makes that very clear, as you will see when you get into it.
