motorvation when it comes to having fun on a pool table..wither
its for the cheeze or just having fun with it..pool is a passion..not

People tend to believe their expectations when they are met. People change their expectations when something other than what they expected happens.

Like thinking you can win a pool tournament before having watched the event in person. They practice and shoot well, then they come to the tournament and things change.

I don't have a paying job to keep me busy or a reputation to protect. It is more fun than a puzzle and I get to practice using different words.

Pool players are definitely not douches compared to many people I've met in other occasions. A lot of basketball players I meet playing outside are douches. Pool requires a lot of discipline and many people are humbled by the game because it is impossible to master.

Maybe it is just the town that the poster was in that had a ton of douchey pool players. I've been many pool players in Taiwan and Cali, and out of all of them, I'd say I only thought that a couple of them were douches..

Hey manwon..thanks..you know i started a thread about charging
$100 a year to weed out people like that poster..maybe Sticky can
create a Club Member Only section..you seldom see club members bashing
the sport or its people..SA
