With all the tours presently on the way or just getting started, Why is it impossible for a tour from each region collect the top 10 money winners and
generate a National tournament. If the pro tour is completely gone maybe a huge tournament like this would get interest from a major TV supplier like NBC, or CBS etc... Even if the networks don't want to carry such an event,
Somebody could be crowned National Champion.
Four Regions, North South East and West, each CEO of each region would negotiate the place time etc.. to do whats most important not for the region or their tour but for the game.

Lets Roll some Balls!!!

I think there are about 8-10 tours now. Maybe the top 10 point holders without pro status, plus the ranking pro's already qualify. Big tounament Las Vegas during the Valley League championships. Most of the pro's are there for the BCA the week before. Then they could leave there and go to California for Grady's tournament.

Mike Janis of the Viking tour was trying to get something like this together last year. I don't know what ever happened.

First of all, lack of sponsors in a continent where there are loads of sports. In America, sponsors pay for baseball, NFL, tennis, Nascar, Golf, etc. Pool is way off their list. Cable TV prefer to schedule live boxing, World Series or Davis Cup. Asking to make pool equal or even closer these level is not a priority. For now, only in Asia where pool is one of their dominant sports. Star Network is raking money on live coverage. Just a reality.

I know money is everything, but the tour can generate some of the money on the entry fee level. Just like u pay for a membership fee, you also pay for
nationals. It wouldn't have to much either 10 per person. Can u imagine most tour events are getting in an average of at least 75 players, JMO.
Thats 750$ per event that goes straight in to Nationals x say 9 events=
6750 just from one tour x say 4 tours = 27000$. Where else can u go to a tournamet with 27,000 added without sponsers. If you happen to get some sponsers, well that is much better.
Nothing gets big over-nite. Think big and start small... Something is better than nothing.
