WHY WAS THE SITE DOWN MOST OF THE DAY,,,AT LEAST FOR ME

We had monsoon storms the past four nights. From what I understand, those storms caused heat issues with my service provider. They referring to something called "White Space Temperatires", which I have never heard of, but from what they described, it was bad.
