Wide Camcorder View

thought i would ask you folks here as most of the time there are some very knowledgeable posters here.

i would like to get a camcorder to mount up above my pool table, so i can see the overhead view. we see this view on the WPBA broadcasts alot, but that camera is well above the table.

now, the ceiling in my poolroom (converted from a garage) is about 5 feet above the table. are there any camcorders out there that i could mount 5 feet above the table that would give me a wide enough view to see the entire table?

I have a sony handycam on my table and purchased a wide angle lens for about fifty bucks. It works great and I save all of the matches I win for proof.

Yeah what you will want is a wideangle or even a fisheye lens depening on how close to the table it is, the problem with any widening lens is that it gives distortion (ever notice that sides of tables 'curving' during a tv match fromt he above view?) and the wider view the lens gives the more distortion it produces.
