i am trying to sell a revo shaft and was asked this by a potential buyer.
i have no clue so i hope one of you has the answer.

That would depend on who converted the threads. If someone just ran the tap in over the radial threads. It should be ok. If it was plugged and re-done. That would still depend on who did it and what 3/8x10 it was done for.
Ex.
For old school 3/8x10. My hole size is over .020 smaller.
