It's hard to know, isn't it? Hendry likes to win, and I tend to think he will only continue playing if he feels that he can win. His match versus Mark Selby was telling, I felt. Granted, Mark is at the top of his game, and credits Hendry with his own aggressive style of play, but they didn't look to be in the same class, to my eyes. It was a bit hard for me to watch, as Hendry was the boy king when I began to get somewhat serious about snooker, in the early 90s. He has had a good run, though. No shame in retiring to the links, if he chooses.
