Will there be a Vegas line of the Vegas IPT?????

This is an interesting one. Will Vegas be daring enough to put up a line on the IPT? Does the allure of 6 figures stop ones greed lol. Come on Vegas, at least put up a 500$ max wager on the IPT. Put the lines up on the appropriate gaming sites (i.e. Vegas Insider.Com) at least for the public to see, and they'll get IPT information in the hands of the people they're trying to attract. far fetched of course, but a topic to at least have fun with and move on from trying to run someones tour for them.

I have a few old matches I recorded off of tv many years ago. they were from the challenge of champions (i believe the first one they ever had). they set odds in vegas on the players for the very first time. mike lebron was a 20 to 1 shot. all the best players were there (buddy hall, sigel, davenport, hopkins). guess who won..... lebron. not only that, if you closely watch every match you will see some very funny things. like in the finals buddy hall scratches in the side (considering the shot he had it was a very, very suspect scratch from all i now know about his game), then he misses a strait in 8-9 combo hill-hill (again, never seen him do anything like this since). anyway, maybe i wont even say anymore, but i will say that i bet the oddsmakers are going to proceed with caution when it comes to pro pool, unfortunately.
 
I hope so. If they did it would skyrocket pool to the top.

Have parlay cards listing all the matches just like they do in football/basketball.

Oh wait, parlay cards do not exist because they are illegal. What was I thinking of.

Enzo, I have heard that story before but I doubt it. Remember, back then if you rigged the game against the house you were asking for a one way ride to the middle of the dessert.

Unless, of course, the house told you to lose.

Vegas hasn't been quite that scary once corporations started buying the casinos so I don't think anyone was worried about being hurt.

Vegas never did a betting line on pool again after that event. I actually saw someone advertise the LeBron match as "the infamous dump match".

Hard to know for sure what happened but suspicions were high enough to kill betting action on pool as far as casinos are concerned.

since betting action on pool was killed, i bet that means there was quite a bit of money on lebron. makes it all the more suspicious.

with the prize money that is going to be available on the ipt, i would suspect there will be less willingness for players to dump matches. another point i'd like to make, even if these guys did rig this tournament, i almost hate to say it, but how can you blame them? i'm sure it went against their better judgement but what are they supposed to do when there is not sufficient money coming in to support themselves and their familes? i believe if the ipt goes as envisioned, players will play hard and take advantage of the fact that they can legitimately make a living playing pool. in short, i think pool players were almost forced into doing things like this in the past. given a chance on the ipt, i don't think players will do things like this knowing the possible consequences.

I think they had a line the next year but had a max bet of $200.00

He is a man of poor stature and a belly the size of an 8 month pregnant Kirstie Alley...he is unemployed and is 26 yrs old and still lives at home...he enjoys video games and not brushing his teeth...oh yea he enjoys riding on the dick of some unamed pool players...he thinks he knows alot about pool and sports in general however i dont think he is even considered a D player...just a bar player who forces unsuspecting women into paying for his coors light and the game of pool...he claims to be awesome at darts yet i owned him at the moon homegame...i owned the moon home game as well...if you ever see blob he might be wearing the same shirt in the pic above with the same ivy tech hoody on and smoking a marlboro light menthol(atleast smoke a mans cig..IE reds)...he usually carries a small stack (1-9 dollars)...doesnt want to scare off any action with a fat stack...he is however good at being the butt end of jokes and he even scared a young teen girl in a local establishment just by standing next to her in line(one pocket mike knows) anyways he is clearly a noob to everything in the world and he actually doesnt know much about anything...he leads on to be intelligent in the political field but couldnt tell you any state governer(including Mr.California)...his new cell phone is clearly for fruit cakes...i mean he got a rubber protecter for it because his fat hands sweat and he is scared it might slip out and he will drop it...i hope some people read this post and get an insight to this man with the maturity of a prepubescent little boy...so if you see him cook him a good healthy meal...cause GOD knows his mother wont cook one(he told me himself)

Clolson, I don't know how long it took you to come up with that shit, but it was funny as hell. But not all of it is true. For intance, I DO own you on a pool table, and we can gamble any time. The only "unnamed" pool players I root for are the same ones you do (if you call Brian Groce "unnamed"). But I do realize the NOBODY knows as much as you do about ANYTHING, so I am sorry for that. And as far as girls go, you keep gettin' laid by chicks who look like, well, you, and I'll be fine with gettin' no play at all if I gotta mess around like that. When it comes to anything pertaining to school, YOU AINT SHIT, if you were, you wouldn't have dropped of two or three of them (governors aren't important enough people to remember anyway).
