Can anyone tell me what the thickness of the ivory ring & butt cap is/was on a WIllie Hoppe Titlist?
I have two that I am restoring (not converting) for personal use, but the ivory & the butt cap is missing on both, so I'm not able to measure either. Any help appreciated. Tx

Consensus was 1/4" to 5/16" for the ivory ring but they did vary somewhat. 1/8" for the butt cap. 1/8" is pretty small for a butt cap and may explain why both mine are missing (probably broken?). I'd like everything correct, but think I'll make the butt caps a little thicker anyway. If I'm not happy with it, I'll refund all my money to myself ;)

Thanks. Yes, they are special. None of the family knows for sure which was Dads & which was GrandDads, not that it really matters. Info tends to get lost over the years but thankfully the cues did not.
