i know most of you are much more accomplished pool players than me

but for me, i was just glued to the tv watching the first one [of two] dvds in this series i got from scott

it always amazes me that one can be so learned in any field of study, whatever it may be. and i know i have only a little bit of knowledge of pool - but this first dvd made me feel that i need "another lifetime" to learn all that is presented here

i hope some of you get them and let me know what you think; and for those who already have them i would as well like to know your thoughts too

and for the record, i am not even a 1P player [yet, but hopefully one day]

A lot of info there executed superbly by a very senior gentleman. I got mine from Scott as well.

Willie Joppling

Got mine from Mr Joppling at the 2005 US Open in Virginia. Fun guy to talk to. One of pool's national treasures. RIP Willie.
 
I've had them for some time now and still replay them. They contain a wealth of information and have you noticed, very few re-takes? I shook hands with Willie (Bill) at the 2005 DCC. He was a fine Southern gentleman.
