I feel both of you there. I avoided it like the plague for years; but, Upstate Al convinced me to join stating something like, "Look Man, this is just another way you can continue to promote the live streams" ... He hounded me, and hounded me, and hounded me until I finally gave in. He had been doing so much in the background there that I just wanted to lend him a helping hand -- lighten the load so to speak. That is all I do 99.9% of the time when I'm there. Steve Kurtz came on board to help out and the three of us have been oiling the wheel. My going there (giving in) turned out to be a "good move" in that regard too. Especially after the creation of the no nonsense, no ads, no video games, no BS Live Stream News (LSN) group that Upstate Al created a little over a month ago. It has introduced lots, and lots of people to the streams. We now have several folks from various countries promoting streams of "all disciplines" via our timelines and LSN by posting, sharing, and liking.
Facebook, like anything else I guess, is all about how one uses it. I use it to promote the sport, as stated above, and that is the Alpha and Omega of my interaction there. AZ is still home base and periodic links hereto on FB has gotta help bring new people here as well -- can't hurt!
That said -- I still feel you both. It takes up lots of my time; but, if it helps promote the sport/AZ in some small way -- so be it. My 2¢!

Nice post Bob but you left a big part out , you push me and steve and vice versa that is what makes the wheels keep spinning we believe "We Can Do This " and will stop at nothing to keep promoting the sport.
