Hi All,

I hope this isn't a repeat, but even if it is it's for a good cause so I don't feel too bad :) . but I just received this press release from my good friend, Samm Diep and wanted to share it with my friends on this forum. Hopefully this will help The Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) meet their fundraising goals and a lucky AZer will win a cool iPad (my wife is making me donate for that chance ), plus you get to guess the outcome of the US Open:

Thanks,
Dave

Press Release
Win an iPad Mini While Supporting the Kids!

October 9, 2014 (Denver, CO): The Billiard Education Foundation (BEF), along with AzBilliards.com and its popular forum, has organized a game of skill contest wherein one lucky winner will receive a 16gb iPad Mini valued at $300.

For every $20 donation to the BEF, contestants submit their guess for whom they think will be the next U.S. Open Champion + Runner-Up. Only one unique combination is accepted so get your guesses in early!

Participants have from now until the start of the first round (10:30AM Eastern on Monday, Oct. 13) to submit their guesses either online or on site at the event with Sandy Schuman or Rosanna Ramirez. Support the future of our sport while taking part in a fun contest.

Bumping this to the top since the contest is only available until Monday morning.

Dave

Sorry, was out with the kiddos doing fall stuff all day.

Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far, and to Dave G. for the bumps!!!

Since there are clearly some very popular choices, we will be allowing duplicate guesses (in an effort to raise as much funds as possible). However, we'll also need the score of the runner-up in the finals in the event of a tie-breaker. If more than one person guessed the same names, the person with the closest score (without going over) will receive the prize of the iPad mini.

Please help spread the word about this contest and help us reach our goal of raising $5,000 this weekend.
