Windy city cue show......?????

Just wondering if anyone found their dream cue, or any facsimile, at this weekend's show?

I just had rotator cuff surgery last Tuesday and so pool playing is on hold until next year which seems really far off. I was hoping any attendees to this year's show might be inclined to post photos or comment about the show.

I'd love to have attended this year's show and will make it a point to get to next year's show. It would have been great to meet a cue-maker like Joel Hercek.

This cue show was fun. The only downside is it was 1 day (though I understand why).

The cue show is always a good and bad thing for me. Good because there are a ton of cues and most people let you try them out. Bad because I'll try them, love them and not even think about value or price negotiation and usually pay asking right off the bat

At the first cue show, I purchased a Diveney Butterfly. It was gorgeous, hit like a dream, and help me break my Custom Cue Cherry

(sold after i mangled it and it didn't play like magic anymore)

Anyway, I ramble. This year, it was nice talking to a lot of collectors and makers about cues. Special shout out to Mr. Jon Spitz, nice seeing you there!

I ended up trying another Diveney, but it was out of my range (damn shame because it hit better than the last one, and was stunning).

I ended up getting a basic carolina custom sneaky. Ebony with a hoppe ring

It played so well. I went in with no intentions of buying a cue either. Guess I was wrong!

Anyway, I look forward to next year's show...where I'll probably get something again :)
