Good scenario portrayed. I'm in agreement. Imagine the situation when Earl ran through 11 racks, you could probably cut the tension in the air with a knife.

What I like doesn't matter. I grew up & played for 45 plus years with WINNER Breaks.

A consensus from the industry & the players would be a good start. In my locale, we play loser breaks. If we didn't play that, there wouldn't be enough players for a tournament. Even the OPEN Tournaments are Alternating Breaks, because they too would lose lesser skill level entrants.
