I haven't played in a pool tournament for over a month and a half

I miss it we used to have a weekly 8 ball tournament at one of the local pubs and for the past 4+ years I have never missed more than 2 in a row. I need to play :(

Anyone in Vancouver BC know where I can get into a tournament just after the new year? or where i can find a weekly tournament? maybe something close to downtown.

You can go to the tournament on Main and Boardway in a pool hall called the Guys and Dolls on Tuesday. They have about 14 Gold Crowns, with food and beers. It is the best pool hall in town in my opinion. The owner Tony is a good guy. His pool hall is the only one I go to for tournament. You can get there by bus if you do not have a car. Entry is $10 and no green fee.

They also have a tournament on Wednesday night on Commerical and Boardway in a place called the rack, it is $50 added. You can get to this place on Skytrain.

These two places are very close to downtown.

These tournaments are handicapped.

I go to the one on Tuesday night. Hope to see you there.:)

I feel your pain. I missed our weekly 9 ball tourney last night & I'm pissed about that!

Thanks Richard I recall you mentioning the tournament at Guys and Dolls before but could not remember what day it was. Will there be a tournament on the 2nd? if so I will likely be there. By the way is it an 8 ball or 9 ball tournament?

All the tournaments I mentioned are 9 ball tournaments. There are some 8 ball tournaments held in pubs, and leagues, but unfortunately, I am not familiar with those.
