They were sold with no name or a variety of different brand names, the most notable being Schmelke. Sort of a midlevel hard case. There were better cases from O'neil, McDermott, and others.
Sometimes they bring good money, sometimes not. It really depends. I see them go for anywhere from $50 to $150, depending on condition and whether it had a brand name on it.
