wizard tips

Anyone know which side of a wizard tip is the glue side?

one side is blank
the other side has ....... wizard H ....on it

I'm 95% sure the side with wizard H is the glue side.


Anyone know for sure?

There is usually a sharp edge side and a rounded edge side to the tip. This is caused by the die stamping the tip out of the leather. As the die comes down is rounds the top slightly and as it punches through, the leather is pushed a bit over the bottom, giving it the sharp feel. Generally the manufacturers suggest that the sharp edge side be glued to the ferrule.
