Wolfys question of the day

Hey I just want to know why pool players are so dumb. Who made the rule to spot the 9 off the break? And who decided to make that the norm? Shouldn’t the 9 spot after the shot is over? Spotting the 9 right away is essentially penalizing the breaker for potting it. It’s now no longer a 9 ball run it’s a 10 ball run. The 9 should spot after the breakers turn ends. Or they should have the option to start over and rebreak like in BCA 8 ball.

so if you dont spot it till after his turn that means he runs to the eight and thats the last ball, or the last ball on the table ends up the winning ball.

but if you spot it after he makes the last ball its a hanger and he then had to run more than 9 balls anyway.
maybe pool rules arent so dumb after all.

Did you have a spotted 9 block your look at the low ball? Push out.

I guess I’m bot sure of the point. Is it that you should plan your run to play position on a 9 ball that won’t get spotted until all the other balls are off the table? That can’t be what you mean, cuz it would still be 10 balls.
