Set Goals
for yourself, Travis. Make out short term goals for yourself in Pool that you can achieve within 6 month time period. You know what you need to work on, so write them all down, and review them at least once a week.
Examples:
1) Practice banking. Goal: to make 6 out of 10 random banks.
2) Practice long draw shots. Goal: execute 6 out of 10 long shots with half table draw minimum.
3) Run 2 9 ball racks.
4) Break and run an 8 ball rack.
These are just examples. And after achieving your short term goals, set the goals higher or of more difficulty, and work on them again. If you are unable to achieve one or more, get some help from a good player or instructor to give you a little step up.
When you write down goals and review them, you will be more apt to learning faster and working harder to achieve them. Instead of just driving down the road, maybe enjoying the journey, you can say, I am driving to Seattle and still enjoy the journey getting there.

Based solely on his posts my sister thinks Travis is "totally hot". She told me if I ever see him at a tournament or see pictures of him posted on AZBilliards that I am to let her know about it.

He is really DCP. DCP slipped up a while ago and posted just like Travis does under his account. People thought DCP was joking but I just think DCP forgot to change logins.

My sister will truely be dissapointed by this news. I have read 2 or 3 of DCP posts and know that he is way to OLD for my sister and his game is not nearly as strong as the young buck Travis's game is. Thanks for pointing this out. I will pass the bad news on to my sister.
