how would an ebony forearm, with tulipwood point, outlined in ebony, then curly maple look? i ordered a jacoby that way. i just dont want the tulipwood to look red, and i want the colors to compliment each other. i wanted cocobolo or kingswood but they said that those woods on ebony wont show up too well. thank you, joey

Well, you have black and yellow already.
The only colors that can blend in are red, purple or pink/orange.
Red, bloodwood would look good. Purpleheart borderinng ebony inside and maple outside would be fine.

I really like the way that ebony and tulipwood look. If you go to Ted Harris's website and look at his cues, he has a couple ebony and tulipwood cues. I was going to order one like that I prefer solid wood cues especially highly figured cocobolo or bocote
