Gentlemen:

Does this type of cue case, in very good condition, have any value?

Without being able to see the interior, it's hard to tell. It will depend on how many butts and shafts it will take, as well as the weight of the case. Good luck with your sale.

I'm not a gentleman, haha, but I may be interested. Looking to get my first cue in two to three weeks (hopefully), so it would be nice to have a case all ready to go once I decide on a cue. I would like to see pictures of the inside of the case before choosing to purchase it though. Not too hung up on how many butts/shafts it can hold since I'm just starting out, but I do prefer a separate place to put the chalk so it's not lying against the cue itself.

As far as price: I'm flexible, but a brand-new Schmelke hard box case costs $45-$50 online with lesser-known brands around $20-$40, so I'm probably not willing to go much higher than that, depending on the condition and interior of this case.

Just my two cents--but do let me know if you're still trying to sell it,

I agree, looks like a decent case. I've made a few dovetail type cases and I know the work that goes into them and the cost of hardware, granted though this one might be a mass produced case or something, but I'll risk it.

Given the photos seen above I'd offer $45 shipped to TX, shoot me a PM if interested.

Wooden Cue Case

Gentlemen (and others)

Thank you all for your input. I am sorry if I mislead you by asking if the case had value. I am not really looking to sell it, just looking for an opinion of value.

And if I did want to sell it it seems that what ever I would get for the case it would cost me to ship it for the most part. Plus, the original interior is gone and it was kind of a hack job replacement.

Thanks again for your opinions and your offers but I guess I will just keep the thing.
