Woods cues lathe

Out of curiosity, what do you guys think of this:

Is it a complete waste of money, or could one make basic cues with it?

It's more a repair lathe than a cue making lathe. It's not a big step up to something like a 12x36 grizzly, Precision Matthews or other similar brands, I would save up some more and go for a proper 36" or 40" lathe.

It's 300 dollars cheaper from guys on facebook. Also when you add the tooling, you only have 28" or less. Same company makes this as the grizzly lathe.
