Is palmwood and snakewood the same?I have a cue that is supposed to be palmwood & I don"t know if I've seen snakewood.

light and dark areas go with the grain in palmwood,,,across the grain with snakewood,,,
colors are different,,,,do a little reaserch on the net,,,don't look for the easy answers,,

Usually there is Black palm and red palm.
