Woodworth or Olivier

Really just looking for some basic reviews. I'm looking at two cues locally (can't test hit) and really like both visually, but never played with either maker.

I got my 2 jerry o's last week
see my thread
I got wood

after a week of playing with them amd not with my josh treadway
I used the treadway last night and it just feels better to me
I dont know what tips jerry put on there but I like the feel of them but the noise is a bit irritating to me

ive had my treadway since oct
and admittedly im new to custom cues

maybe I subconsciously like the feel of the leather wrap better than linen
maybe josh's has more finish and thats why it feels slicker
maybe its half an ounce heavier
but the feel of my treadway is much better than the oliviers to me at this moment in time

you can see my treadway in my albums on my profile

ok
so my treadway has a nice thin taper as well as the butt is thin
it also has a tip that im fond of the lepro
and a leather wrap

all of these traits I've come to love and need from a cue I play with regularly

the olivier is a thicker shaft taper and butt taper
with an everest layered tip that I cannot stand
even the linen feels harsh against my palm
nothing about these cues do anything for me
the plane bocote has nice figure and simple rings
the other plane curley maple came out great looking with nice rings to me
despite the fact that it was supposed to be STAINED curley maple!
its right there in the invoice
after the way the deal ended I didn't even bother bringing it up to the guy

have heard nothing but great things about the guy
guess I was unlucky

next day I even emailed him the design I wanted on the next one but no more response when he always responded before

I've owned 3 Jerry Olivier cues and all 3 played very solid and very similar,,,,,,,,,can't comment on the other one.
