Anyone have any good stories about YOUR own woofing back firing and leaving you looking a fool?

Have yet to see woofing leave anyone looking like anything other than a fool.... At least these days... The old school had it's share of colorful characters and plenty of banter but that seems to be a lost art after listening to the usual useless drivel slung back in forth at derby and around pool halls across the country.......

Show some class and some restraint... Even Keith didn't woof at everyone... But ohh man when he started with Ronnie it was awesome... The art of woofing and banter has to do with knowing your opponent.. Not with barking at everything that moves like some dog that just ran out the front door and into the real world for the first time.....

Just my opinion on how things seems to be flowing today... I'm sure we have some members here who recall the artform and may have even practiced it properly in days gone by.....

Wow I figured this thread would be packed by now with embarrassing stories of backfiring trash talk from people's beginning years of pool calling out the town's top dogs and getting taught a lesson lol being most people I meet in pool have a big ego about their game.

Just last week I tried trash taking my brother(top shot on our team) telling him I was better than him and I've onlyy been playing two years to his 8 he then followed up by kicking my arse about 9 of 10 games playing great safes, nailing jump shots and completely dismantling my game one flaw at I time. I haven't said a thing since. :) that's my small time woof
