OK I know lots of you have sent PMs, Emails and posted here in various threads but I am up against a deadline for print ads and I need testimonial stuff... IF you are willing to allow me to print your name and comments please post them here... I am working on ad work for the BCAPL Nationals in 10 days and I have tons of other stuff to work on to be ready...

If you post here please include at least your first name and the city you live in... along with a statement that it is ok for me to use your comments.....

Yes WILSON I know there is a place for reviews but I am up against it and I promise I will let this thread die as soon as BCA hits.....

I'll even do a chalk give away as penance when I get back from Vegas......

Chris

I trust Ki-Tech tips with my bankroll when I play. When it matters most that you are confident in your tip a Ki-Tech soft has been there for me every time. - John Barton, Oklahoma City.

Like most of us I've tried just about every tip out there but the search is over. Ki-Tech wins hands down.

The sound of a Ki-Tech Hard is music to my ears. I've never had a tip sing to me till now. Try one and you'll see just what I mean!

I formerly used Kamui Black and Ultraskins. The Ki-Tech tip feels better, holds chalk great and hasn't mushroomed at all with 4 months of heavy play. I'm don't think it is possible to make a better cue tip.

Over the past couple of years I've used Kamui (brown/black/clear- both medium and soft), UltraSkins (Mediums and Pro), Everest (Medium) as well as Lepro and Black Diamond.

After working thru the beta testing phase with these new single layer hybrid Ki-Techs, I can say after 30 plus years of playing pool this is the best (and longest lasting- ie stable) tip that I have ever played with. I like a softer tip for 'slower paced' games but I also like the medium when playing a harder hitting run out rotation games. Love the immediate feed back the tip has on my LD Mezz and Z2 shafts. With minimal refresh effort, these tips drink up the chalk for the most consistent 'tip to CB' contact footprint for maximum CB control with minimal effort. Awesome cutting edge product.

Precision, accuracy and consistency are the hallmarks of great pool players and the very best pool playing equipment. Your cue tip is a critical piece of equipment and many players are on a never-ending quest to find the “best” cue tip available. For me that quest ended once I started playing with Ki-Tech Single Layered cue tips.

I have experimented with everything from the most expensive layered tips to home-made “duds” and I’ve found that Ki-Tech Single Layered cue tips are extremely consistent and reliable. Ki-Tech cue tips are what I use on all of my playing cues and they are what I recommend.

What makes Ki-Tech tips so precise, accurate and consistent? For me I have found that Ki-Tech tips maintain their shape, hold chalk very well, do not have a tendency to “glaze” over, require minimum maintenance, perform exactly as I expect (I have Ki-Techs installed on several shafts) and after several months of play these tips look as good as the day they were installed. I fully expect my Ki-Tech tips to last a very long time and maintain their consistent play.

I am officially “off” the cue tip merry-go-round! Ki-Tech Single Layered tips are all I need.

Thanks for the replies so far... and thanks Rad for the note at the bottom.. I'll get the other guys that replied to PM me a statement authorizing me to use their posts =) I think copyright on a public forum is not an issue but better safe than sorry before I spend time and money and have to redo it.....

Chris :D

You have the right to use anything I said about your tips anywhere I said it.

Thanks for that John... Fickle finger of fate is trying to screw me on getting to BCA Nationals... I may end up there in August for APA if something doesn't give... Just sent back a custom order today that showed up blank no engraving... They are telling me 10days on turn around... Have some ass to chew all day long tomorrow to try and get them done in under a week......

The days of a high tech single layer tip are here. I put my confidence in an Outsville
Ki-Tech Hard and will never look back.

Oops, meant to send that in a PM.

Absolutely no mushrooming after my match with Shane Van Boening..

My wife claims I have a strange mind. When I read your post, the following thought came to my mind. "You mean Shane Van Boening" causes mushrooming?? :D BTW - I have Ki-Tech soft on three shafts. I am about to put one on my favorite shaft. It has taken me some time to get use to them, but I am becoming a believer. I have used Everest and Moori. I liked them but had glazing problems and changes in hardness. The Ki-Tech seems to be holding up and I have had no glazing. Matter of fact, I had to play with mine until the surface flattened out (got rid of fuzz). The only maintenance I have preformed has been to get the tip in exactly the shape I like.

The hit to me is different and that is what I had to get use to. It seems firmer/solid to me. It is a feel I now like.

Still gathering feedback for the website and FB... Anyone willing to give a shout out I can use would be appreciated.....

I'm a gear junkie and tips are the most important part of the gear. Ki-Techs are the best gear out there. Nothing compares.

Outsville products are hands down the best I've seen. Every product produced is made with utmost amount of care in regards to players feel and peace of mind.

You can really tell the ppl at outsville (Chris) have thought about it from every possible angle.

The ki tech tips are made for immediate playability. No need to break a tip in. It's ready to go from the first hit to the last. If anyone ever gets to the last of it. I've had mine on for 3 months of continuous play at 5-6 hrs a day. And I can't see a difference from the first day.

The great white chalk is to me, just as impressive as the tips. Never have I felt more grip from a chalk. No longer do I dread playing slow spin safes, or shots in close quarters. A shot everyone can relate would be a cut down the long rail with low outside from distance. You will never feel that slippage on this shot ever again. When u talk about thought in a product. Chris has also made the chalk white and round. U get more out of the shape by not having to shave down the corners and it's less noticeable in white. Won't stain ur shirts.

All in all I haven't used any product billiard or non related that I can say has more thought put into it then outsville products.

Chris feel free to use any part of this post. And thank u again for all the hard work put into these products.

Thanks Chris! I wanted to go as well but I had made promises to watch an exhibition scheduled for the same weekend between Allen Hopkins and our house pro Joey Testa.

I heard u were going to be there with the accu rack but I couldn't get away. Can't wait to meet the man himself. But seriously... I'm just like u, in that, I put my heart into the product or service I provide. So I know it when I see it.

I will make plans for April now that u mention it.

Please continue the hard work my friend. We need more ppl like u in the pool world. Innovating and improving on current ideas and products. Instead of regurgitating the same garbage and relying on marketing schemes to fleece the public.

I'm available to sample some products. Will be in Olathe for the 9B tournament. Hook me up ;)
