Well there goes to hope of the young guns of America,for what it cost to get there a lot of talent will be lost.What happened to having the event in Jacksonville,it seems that all of the capable players for that area have sponsors and have no problem getting to the us.So I think the tourney should be here.

"We're a bit of a shambles and can't produce the organisation or the individual players willing or able to travel to World Championships held outside USA so the obvious logical conclusion is that the rest of the world, some of whom are organised and do have players willing and able to travel internationally, should therefore obviously automatically be obliged to come to us........"

Surprising that nobody's thought of that reasonable and totally convincing approach before. Sometimes the solution is so clear that it just can't be seen by some.

Edit....sorry Liljohn, just read that back to myself and didn't mean that to come across as quite as cheeky as that, was meant to be more lighthearted.......what I mean is that the bottom line of what you seem to be effectively saying is that you think other countries' pool organising bodies and other countries' players' sponsors should in a roundabout way be subsidising USA players to participate in World Championships because USA organisations and USA sponsors won't. That's more than a little cheeky itself don't you think?

The event held in Jacksonville may have been a fine competition won by a true champion, but it was not the World Ten Ball Championships. The first sanctioned WC 10B will be in the Philippines later this year.

In your perpective I understand,what I meant was that even though ten ten ball event wasn't a true world event It was promoted as that,If I remember right.Why move the event Imop,there are alot of great players her and abroad and at the most the event should be distributed like the super bowl per say..
