World Open Players Meeting

If you listen to the players meeting at the World Open, when Kevin T is talking about the qualifiers for the Tour Card, it sounds like he is saying something like this:

"The prize is high! If you finish first or second you will get an all expences paid to Vegas. 200 players will come to Vegas!"

Can this be correct? Will the IPT cover flight and hotel for top two at each qualifier, or is it just my bad ears who doesn't get it properly? It isn't that easy to get just that little sentence... :(

That's what i heard aswell and i've got it confirmed by Maurice Houben of HOB Weert! So i hope it's true beacuse then there are a lott of dutch who are going to take a shot at this!

Press Release today:

"The top two finishers in each of these events will win an entry into the 2007 Tour Card Tournament where the top 50 players will earn a 2007 Tour Card. And, each qualifying player will also win free airfare to the tournament as well as a hotel room. No matter how many players enter each tournament, two players will earn spots in the tournament."

With this information, even I are interested in putting in some $... ;)

However, I would have paid the entryfee of 2000$ without a doubt if it was a open-event in December in Vegas. I believe maybe 400 - 500 players would have done the same. How cool wouldn't that have been, with 400 players trying to qualify, and when the qualifier is finished we could all meet to see the final of the King of the Hill!!!
