World Pool Championships???

So does anyone know what the hell is going on with the World Pool Championships? How come there hasn't been one since 2008? I've been looking everywhere for news on this. If you have a link to a news thread, that would be great!

Actually they arranged World Pool Championship in 9-ball in both 2008 and 2009 in Area 51 in the southern parts of Nevada. But we are not supposed to know about it. So I cant tell you who won.
