I love her too! She's only 5 months so the avatar will change over time. It's difficult to take a nice picture of her with my mobile cuz she won't stand still!

This one is gonna be a toughy to predict, six different world champions including snooker:eek: My pick to win is Pagulayan, after watching him play a couple months ago I'm still in disbelief at this guys raw shotmaking ability. Another prediction I'm going to make is an upset in the Wu vs O'Sullivan match with Ronnie coming out on top, Wu just doesn't seem to perform as well away from home.

It was also nice to see some young guns in there like Foldes and especially Majid. Majid plays real sporty and it's only a matter of time before he's playing on the IPT, Lely will have his hands full in the first round with this guy.

well his nickname the magicien comes from his stick handling :p so i can believe his favorit sport is cock fighting , doesnt surprise me :D

ps i love all the dutch players there too. well love is a big word. i never met them irl and i havent had a chance to play vs them (WAY above my league) so i cant really say i love them. We all know belgiums and dutch players arent the biggest friends, but to me, any european player who can play in so many good tournaments only deserves credit, no matter where he's from. (i played schmidt though once and lost 3-5, i even wonder how i made the first 3 racks. why isnt he playing? he's been playing better and better and i count him in the top5 dutch players.) i actually dont like him as a person. im not into charking techniques used by a pro when played vs a C player. man i cant remember how many times he used my chalk and changed it places, putting it in his pockets etc.. but ive got greath respect for him as a player. he makes it look easy). hope ill play nvdb or alex or niels one day without being sharked this time... (sorry for the longer ps then the actual post :p)

dave: is there any way u could film some matches with a digicam? (or your cellphone.. but the quality is a bit... small :d)
id LOVE to see some matches but im not free on those days. got a ranking event and work to do

I'll see what I can do with some filming or getting videos from other people. Solly, do you mean Giliano Smit? He's indeed in the top 5 or 6 at any given time 10th place right now but that a bit low. But I do think that in general Nick, Alex and Niels are one notch above the rest. There is a fourth duthchman that qualified for the IPT NA Open, namely Rico Diks.

Raj Hundal vs Hiroshi Takenaka
Rodney Morris vs Niels Feijen (really could go either way)
Nick van den Berg vs Vilmos Foldes (really could go either way)
Steve Davis vs Alex Pagulayan
Imran Majid vs Alex Lely (really could go either way)
Ralf Souquet vs Efren Reyes (really could go either way)
Thomas Engert vs Tony Drago
Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Wu Chia-Ching (really could go either way(you get the idea!!!))

Round 2

Raj Hundal vs Niels Feijen
Nick ban den Verg vs Alex Pagulayan
Imran Majid vs Efren Reyes
Thomas Engert vs Wu Chia-Ching

R4

Niels Feijen vs Alex Pagulayan
Efren Reyes vs Wu Chia-Ching

Final

Alex Pagulayan vs Chia-Ching Wu

----------

On another day i could of chose this very different, some undoubtedly tight matches.

Its impossible to choose a winner in this format. Keep in mind Steve Davis should have beaten Wu last year. Wu was very lucky to get past Steve as he fluked a 9 and Davis had one of the worst rolls of the tournament in the last rack. My point is that any body can win.

Personally I'd like to see Ronnie, Alex or Steve (hes my all my time fav) win it.

Is anyone streaming this event over the net?...I'd pay to watch it just like the DCC last year......

Reyes
Pagulayan
Wu

in any order...

Gerry

internet streaming

betandwin.com showed some of the Austrian Eurotour stop. It appears to also be set to show some of the masters...It requires registering and the stream was in a 2" screen that wasn't re-sizeable, but pool is pool. First round matches are Friday and Saturday.

lets hope u can find someone to film it, even if its on one of those old k7 for the VCR!!

How can you root against anyone who has cock fighting listed as a hobbie? Efren all the way... anyone else see that but me?

I would like to see RAJ twopeat.

I wouldn't be surprised if Raj repeated. He is an amazing player and it did alot for pool in the UK when he made the amazing comeback in last years finals. He still has some flaws in his game that will improve in time, mainly in the saftey department but it still doesn't stop him from being an amazing player, he'd wipe the floor with me lol:)
