Interesting match coming up in about 20 min. -- Juszczyszyn vs. Melling

Edit -- Why is the time given for the post about 5 min. behind the actual time?

Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the matches. I'm also originally from Romania and happy to see the tournament being organized there

Today's free streamed matches are scheduled (USA east coast time) for 5 am (Shaw beat Hohmann), 7:30 am (Filler vs. Makkonen, about to start), 11:00 am, and 2:00 pm.

Thanks to the OP for sharing the information.

The stream though is un-watchable.... slow for me. Is this just me or are others having the same problem ?

Shaw appears to be rolling

his firepower when on might be the best ever

Melling is just sick too

the skill level today is unreal, its amazing that the handfull of elite level pros out there will still statistically lose against the field more often than not, much more often actually

you would think watching this level should inspire you to play better but fak me if it doesn't have the opposite effect from time to time

4 quarterfinal matches today at 3-hour intervals starting a couple minutes from now:

Melling vs. Szewczyk
Gorst vs. Ladanyi
Kaçi vs. Maciol
Shaw vs. Hohmann

Maybe I'm biased, but doing pool commentary and talking about personal stuff will totally screw the industry from attracting non-industry sponsors.

Freddie <~~~ didn't need to know who let one loose

it's over-Jayson wins 13-12! i think it is 1:20AM over there now

Yup, they went to a shootout at 12-12 and Jayson won it. Hohmann did some terrific playing during the match, breaking and running out 8 times on 12 breaks. But he started jumping up on some shots, and then during the shootout jumped up on all 3 of his attempts and missed them all badly. Jayson made 3 out of 4 shots and it was over.

The match ended at 11:26 pm local time. They are 7 hours ahead of USA east coast.

Edit: Unfortunately, tomorrow's first match is at 4 am USA east coast time -- Melling vs. Ladanyi. Then Kaçi vs. Shaw 3 hours later.
