Shaun Murphy is a lively outsider for the title but only if he stops missing the easy shots and letting the opponent back in but this is a good battle between 2 former World Champions.May the best man win.:wink:

Nice win for Milkins against Robertson 10-8.

Looked like a dump to me, the last 6-7 frames was the most amateur standard of play I ever saw on any match in the past 8 years, something was going on, no was he missed brown off the spot by 5" & too many like that to remember ,

That bottom half now looking juicy for Ding or Selby to book a place in the final, taking nothing away from the qualifiers or RW but you gotta figure.....

Top half is still a mystery, Judd seems to have found some form at the right time and he could run into Carter or RO, Carter could get through (my pick) and meet Judd but Stuart could be the fly in the ointment here. Dotty has pulled even at 8-8 with Murphy and this could go either way but not sure either will fair well against Judd in form.

Neil Robertson played so bad yesterday in the final session I could have beat him. I think he dumped it off, which makes no sense at all, but how in the world can someone who plays that good play that bad? I had a bad playing pool just before Christmas and couldnt make a ball, but still relatively speaking not as bad as Neil did. Something wasnt right about that whole session.

This game is tough, it's not hard to have a bad day or even a bad season. Look at the way Dott played yesterday, he's been in 2 finals and won it once, today he's back to even.
At this level mistakes can be glaring with so many capable of one visit frame killing.
I highly doubt the short term pay off is anything like worth what the overall win is and the risk of a life ban and they closely monitor betting patterns.
