World vs Asian Chinese taipai?

I am hoping to hear something solid on Monday. I know the US won, I heard they had a big lead going into the final day and then lost three straight matches before winning the event.

Bata, Django propel World All-Star team

The World All-Star Team defeated the Chinese Taipei All-Star Team,13-7, to win the World Stars Invitational Team Cup 9-ball Championship held in Taiwan during the weekend.

The winning team was composed of Efren "Bata" Reyes, Francisco "Django" Bustamante, and Canada-based Alex Pagulayan of the Philippines; Earl Strickland and Rodney Morris, United States, Mike Immonen, Finland, Ral Soquet, Germany and Kunihko Takahashi, Japan.

The Chinese Taipei all-stars were Chao Fong-Pang, Fang Hsiao-Lang, Chang Hao-Ping, Yang Ching-Shun, Kang Chin-Ching, Hsia Hui-Kai, Lee Kun-Fang and Fu Che-Wei.

The winners received $50,000, the losing team $20,000.

FILIPINO Francisco "Django" Bustamante swept his three assignments as the World All-Star Team routed the Chinese Taipei All-Stars, 13-7, in the World Stars Invitational Team Cup 9-Ball Championship held in Taiwan during the weekend.

Bustamante beat Chang Hao-ping, 7-3, and Lee Kun-fang, 7-3, in the singles and then combined with compatriot Efren "Bata" Reyes in hurdling Lee and Fu Che-wei, 9-7, in the doubles.


An off-form Reyes dropped both his singles matches to Yang Ching-shun (7-5) and Kang Chin-ching, 7-4.

Other members of the World All-Stars were Alex Pagulayan, Americans Earl Strickland and Rodney Morris, Finland's Mika Immonen, Germany's Ralf Souquet and Japan's Kunihiko Takahashi.

Souquet also notched 3 points for the All-Stars.

The winners received 50,000 dollars
