Would like to hear some Chad Carter cue reviews pls!

Balanced pretty well with a solid hit. Hits just a little bit softer than my TAD1M, but I attribute that to the ivory joint. It is a little more forward balanced than what I am used to, but not by much. Shafts have a nice taper and hit pretty solid. I don't have any problem with deflection off them. Overall, I think his cues play very well. Plus, the ladies like the Chad Carter cue more than my TAD cues because its so much "prettier."

i've tried 2 of his cues. i know this isn't really the place for people to speak their minds but i'm going to go ahead and do it anyway.

the first chad carter i used looked fantastic. ivory joint leather wrap the whole shebang. but the cue hit awful. it felt like the weight was all in the shaft and like the but was almost hollow. the ferrule came loose at one point and the wrap did the same and both had to be redone. my buddy that owned it complained about the shaft but i can't remember what exactly was his problem with it. i do know it deflected a lot because a couple of times he'd try to really juice the ball up and miss the whole ball. the guy's no slouch either. he runs 2 packs on the regular and gives me the 8

the second one i ran into was a cocobolo plane jane. no ring work at any of the spots. this cue hit great and the balance was perfect. i'm not sure if it was 1 piece of cocobolo with a wrap groove cut into it or if it had an a joint but it hit real crisp and seemed to be balanced well. this cue had an ivory ferrule. i don't normally go in for all that but i really liked this one.

i'm sure someone's going to call me a jerk for posting this but at the end of the day it is what it is. i've never really been much for lying
