Yep, for the same price, you WILL be able to find a cue with a straight butt. If this is heavily discounted, than jump on it.... but if not, why bother, go look for a better one.
I am very picky about how cues roll but am mainly concerned if the tip comes off the table when rolled. I end up selling most of the cues i buy so it is partly for playability but mostly because it will be easier to sell down the road. I wouldnt even buy that cue if someone was trying to sell it to me no matter the discount.
Well, like I said, the shaft rolls just fine by itself, and I should have no trouble selling the shaft on its own. The butt is in nearly mint condition (other then a very small dot sized nick in the forearm). I thought if I did try to sell the cue, then my best bet would be selling the butt and the shaft separately. Since the butt alone might be worth very little, then my best bet is just trying to sell the straight shaft by itself on auction. Thanks for your replies.
