if Predator or OB-1 offered a loaner/rental shaft to try (with a security deposit of course) to see if a person liked it. I know some distributors offer a 30 day money back offer, but I don't like to do that. Or I could go to a major city (I live in the deep woods). I'd to try a used one first and then have a new one sent if I wanted to buy one. I'd love to compare a 314 2 against the OB-1...who knows, I might buy both.

There are many predator dealers that have a test shaft that people can try out. Mostly pro-shop dealers, that only let you use the shaft at that particular pool hall. Try calling all of the dealers near you and see if any of them have one you can try out.
